Praise be to Allah.There is no basis for treating disease with music. This is one of

the actions of the foolish. Music is not a treatment, it is a disease

which takes the form of musical instruments. All of it is a disease

of the heart which corrupts people. The beneficial treatment which brings

peace to the soul is for the sick person to listen to the Qur’aan and

useful lessons and ahaadeeth. Treating disease with music and musical

instruments will merely make them get used to falsehood and make them

even more sick, and it will make it hard for them to listen to the Qur’aan

and Sunnah and useful lessons. There is no help and no strength except

with Allaah.
