Surah Al-Anbya — 21:26

وَقَالُواْ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَلَدٗاۗ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥۚ بَلۡ عِبَادٞ مُّكۡرَمُونَ
And they say, “The Most Beneficent has offspring!” Glory be to Him! In fact, those ˹angels˺ are only ˹His˺ honoured servants,
Commentary
The idolaters said: “Allah has taken the angels as daughters”. Pure and exalted is Allah from the lie they say. The angels are in fact the servants of Allah, honoured by Him and close to Him.
