We inspired the mother of Moses: “Nurse him, but when you fear for him, put him then into the river, and do not fear or grieve. We will certainly return him to you, and make him one of the messengers.”
Commentary
I inspired the mother of Moses (peace be upon him) to breastfeed him until she feared that Pharaoh and his people would kill him, and when that time came, to place him in a box, cast it into the sea and not fear him drowning, being harmed by Pharaoh or even having to separate from him, as I would return him to her alive and make him one of My Messengers I send to My creation.
