Surah Sad — 38:62

وَقَالُواْ مَا لَنَا لَا نَرَىٰ رِجَالٗا كُنَّا نَعُدُّهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَشۡرَارِ
The tyrants will ask ˹one another˺, “But why do we not see those we considered to be lowly?
Commentary
And the arrogant transgressors will say: “Why do we not see with us in the fire men we used to consider in the world amongst the wretched who deserved punishment?
