The Book of Miscellany — Hadith 478
'Abdullah bin Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Do not crave for property lest you should be absorbed in the desire of worldly life."[At- Tirmidhi, who classified it as Hadith Hasan].
وعن عَبْدِ اللَّه بنِ مسعودٍ ، رضي اللَّه عنه ، قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " لا تتخذوا الضيعة فترغبوا في الدنيا". ((رواه الترمذي وقال : حديثٌ حسنٌ )).
