Aslam

Idris is mentioned briefly in the Quran but with great honour. He was a man of truth and a prophet. Allah raised him to a high station — scholars interpret this as a physical raising to the heavens, or an elevation in rank and closeness to Allah. He is counted among the patient and the righteous.
