Al-Yasa is mentioned alongside the greatest prophets in the Quran — with Ibrahim, Ishaq, Yaqub, Musa, and Harun. Allah says of him and others: "All were favoured above the nations." He continued the mission of Ilyas, guiding his people to the worship of Allah alone. He is counted among the best of creation.
