Aslam

Ayyub was a prophet blessed with wealth, health, and a large family. Then he was tested — he lost everything. His wealth vanished, his children died, and his body was struck with a terrible illness that lasted for years. People abandoned him. Through all of it, Ayyub remained patient, never complaining against Allah.

Finally, he called out: "Indeed, adversity has touched me, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful." Allah responded immediately: "Strike the ground with your foot — this is a cool wash and a drink." A spring gushed forth. Allah restored his health, returned his family to him, and gave him double of what he had lost. His story is the ultimate example of sabr — beautiful patience in the face of overwhelming loss.
