Aslam

Lut was the nephew of Ibrahim. He was sent to the people of Sodom, who practiced a sin unprecedented among all of creation. Lut pleaded with them: "Do you approach males among the worlds and leave what your Lord has created for you as mates? Rather, you are a transgressing people."

They threatened to expel him: "If you do not desist, O Lut, you will surely be of those evicted." When angels came to Lut in the form of handsome young men to warn him, the people of the city rushed to his door with evil intent. Lut was distressed, saying: "This is a difficult day." The angels told him: "Do not fear. We are the messengers of your Lord; they will never reach you."

Lut was told to leave with his family during the night and not to look back. At dawn, the punishment came — Allah turned the cities upside down and rained upon them stones of baked clay, marked from your Lord. And they are not from the wrongdoers very far.
